I love forests. Who doesn’t? I’ve heard that being in a forest leads to a measurable increase in one’s happiness, due to a higher oxygen content in the air. There are also microbes in the soil there that are as powerful as pharmaceutical anti-depressants at relieving stress! And then, of course, there’s simply the beauty of the forest landscape. Majestic tall trees, diverse under-story flora, and animal activity of all sizes. There’s no reason not go visit a forest near you.
