Like many children, wild animals were probably the first thing that spurred my love of nature. I would scour through National Geographic magazines, implore my parents to take me to zoos, etc. While wildlife still holds a dear place in my heart, my love of nature has primarily followed other paths. I now often find myself more drawn to the plants and geology of landscapes than the wild animals. Yet nevertheless, there is still that amazing moment of adrenaline when you spot a wild animal within its native landscape. Even though my academic and spiritual interest in these wild animals has somewhat waned, the pleasure of those intense moments never will. This is my collection of those moments.
