This path leads to a beach that is actually part of a nature preserve, so the vegetation you see – like the sea grapes and dune grass – is a throwback to traditional South Florida barrier islands. It lends itself to plenty of bugs, but at least this keeps away the throngs of visitors, and gives you a borderline private slice of tropical “paradise.”
